Ganesh Chaturthi is one such festival that is celebrated across India by everyone. Ganpati Bappa is welcomed home by devotees from superstar Shah Rukh Khan to businessman Mukesh Ambani. On Thursday, August 1, 2022, Ambanis bid adieu to Bappa in the evening after the one and half-day of celebration at their home. Many actors including Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone joined in for the visarjan.
Bollywood’s most loved couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone joined Ambanis for Bappa’s visarjan. In the viral video, the duo is seen getting on a truck decorated with marigold flowers. The ‘Piku’ actress sat aside on the bench enjoying the vibes and festivities while the powerhouse of Bollywood, Singh, danced with joy on the peppy track.
In the video, the ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’ actor is seen grooving on one of the most loved numbers for Ganeshotsav, ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’ from ‘Agneepath’ featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt. Ranveer is seen wearing a white kurta-pyjama while Deepika wore a cream salwar suit, a dupatta across her shoulders, and large earrings. Shloka Mehta, the wife of Akash Ambani and Radhika Mechchant even joined them on the truck for the celebration. The former adorned a mint sharara, and the latter can be seen in a patterned sharara.
The truck was surrounded by a huge crowd waiting for the visarjan. Several people wore orange coloured kurta. The video also features Ambani’s beautiful home decor for the big occasion.
The Ambanis welcomed Ganpati Bappa in a grand manner into their home on August 31. Tina Ambani, the industrialist Anil Ambani’s wife, posted a little video of the idol on Instagram and the caption read, “On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, we bow to the Lord Ganesha who has a huge body and a curved elephant trunk and whose brilliance is equal to billions of Suns. May he always remove all obstacles from all our endeavors. Ever thankful to @amitabhbachchan for his soulful rendition of this powerful Ganesh mantra.”
